Simon Tokumine works for Vizzuality, a company that specialises in developing citizen cyberscience projects. One of their most successful projects is Old Weather, where citizen cyberscientists get to help meteorologists make climate model projections by transcribing and interpreting old transcripts recovered worldwide from weather observations made by Royal Navy ships during the first World War.
